Civil Litigation Department

We possess vast experience in civil litigation and our civil litigation department deals with the following:

  • Representation in all legal matters including but not limited to debt collection, initiating and/or defending civil actions such as motor vehicle collisions and delictual claims, as well as commencing and/or defending commercially related actions such as purchase and/or sale and lease agreements.
  • We handle general litigation matters such as civil suits against the states. In addition, we initiate and/or defend matters relating to eviction of occupants from premises, either residential or commercial.
  • We also handle matters relating to foreclosures of mortgage bonds, repossession of motor vehicles from defaulting consumers, as well as collections and all in compliance with the National Credit Act.
  • We also handle road accident fund matters as well as medical negligence matters.

Family Law Department

Our family law department deals with the following:

  • We cover aspects of family law including divorces, maintenance and lodgement of pension fund claims.
  • We accept appointment as receivers and liquidators for the purpose of attending to division of joint estate to finalize divorce matters.
  • We also handle administration of deceased estates, winding up of estate and drafting wills.
  • We also handle the administration of trusts.

Labour and Employment Law Department

Our labour and employment law department deals with the following:

  • Providing legal services to matters relating to labour and personnel issues, such as providing legal opinion and advice in labour law issues, representation in arbitration before the Metal and Engineering Industries Bargaining Council, CCMA and all proceedings before the Labour Court.
  • We have an understanding of labour and employment law jurisprudence for purpose of providing legal opinions, representing clients and various forums.
